 Unlike some lasers, RF microneedling can be used safely on all skin tones and types. 

A Micro-Hydrabrsion is a non-invasive skin treatment that exfoliates and removes the dead, dull, outermost layer of the skin whilst hydrating and getting rid of the impurities. It is a gentle and invigorating treatment that leaves your skin clean, clear, bright and purified.

Micro-Hydrabrasion treatment feature the use of diamond-tipped machine and vaccum suction with a hydrating serum to extract debris from your pores and exfoliate the dead skin cells.

It is recommended to have a 6 weekly treatment.

To ensure your skin is strong enough to tolerate the treatment, you may be required to prepare using active skin care products. Your pre-peel preparation may include a combination of retinol, vitamin C, a tyrosine inhibitor and glycolic ingredients.

Three days prior to your appointment, you will need to stop the use of any cosmeceutical retinols. Topical prescription retinol will need to be ceased at least two weeks in advance.

How does it work?

In the same way that plants use chlorophyll to convert sunlight into plant tissue, high-intensity light-emitting diodes (LEDs) utilising specific, proven wavelengths of light can trigger a natural biostimulatory effect in human tissue. Research has shown that phototherapy can increase circulation, accelerates tissue repair, kill acne bacteria, decrease inflammation, improve skin tone, texture and clarity, as well as ease muscle and joint pain, stiffness, spasm, and arthritis.

What is the research on it?

Research indicates that cells absorbs particles of light (photons) and transform their energy into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the form of energy that cells utilize. The resulting elevation of ATP is then used to power metabolic processes; synthesize DNA, RNA, proteins, enzymes, and other products needed to repair or regenerate cell components; foster mitosis or cell proliferation; and restore homeostasis. Simply put, the LED light source provides compromised cells with added energy so the performance of the cells is enhanced. For example, fibroblast cells will increase collagen and elastin production in connective tissue.

Is it painful?

No, not at all. In fact, there is very little to no sensation felt during the treatment. LED helps tissues heal naturally from the inside out and is very relaxing. It is quite bright so protective eye goggles are worn during treatment.

Does this treatment work for wrinkles or aging skin?

Yes! LED light therapy increases ATP production and stimulates collagen production in the skin.

Does it work for acne?

 Yes! We use t in all of our acne treatments. We use LED light therapy pre or post procedures for optimal results. This treatment is done twice a week for 5 to 8 weeks, depending on the severity of the condition.

Does it work for pain?

Yes! LED light therapy can reduce inflammation that leads to pain.

Are there any side-effects?

LED Light therapy is an all natural therapy with no known side-effects.

Mesotherapy is a non-surgical skin treatment that involves multiple injections to deliver micro amounts of a particular solution into the dermis of the skin or into the subcutaneous space.

So, what’s the best mesotherapy cocktail?  It all depends on the candidate and their individual skin concerns. “The solution can be made up of a variety of components, commonly hyaluronic acid,  platelet rich plasma (PRP), vitamins and minerals (e.g. vitamin C), antioxidants (e.g. glutathione). 

Is mesotherapy effective?

Absolutely, the trauma created by the multiple needles with the addition of the solution leads to rejuvenation of the skin. The mechanism is through trauma and stretching of the fibroblasts, which lead to neocollagenesis (collagen stimulation).

Repeated treatments can lead to a thicker dermis, improved fine lines and overall much healthier and younger-looking skin. It also helps to moisturise the skin from the inside out,

No Needle Mesotherapy

No-needle mesotherapy is also an option. It involves using a low-frequency skin rejuvenation device to penetrate these active ingredients deep into the dermis, up to 6mm. As with traditional mesotherapy, the solution is completely tailored to your skin type and needs. However, the penetration of ingredients may be more limited in comparison to the traditional mesotherapy treatment.
